SJC Completes Record-Breaking Year and Continues Successful National Expansion Plan
Tulsa, OK, January 16, 2012, – Stan Johnson Company, Stan Johnson Company, one of the nation’s leading real estate brokerage and advisory firms specializing in net lease investment sales, announced today the successful results of its record-breaking year and the continued deployment of its national expansion plan.
In 2011, Stan Johnson Company closed more than 220 transactions representing 288 properties, an all-time high in the company's 25-year history. Transaction volume for the year totaled $1.5 billion with approximately $674 million in retail, $480 million in industrial, and $255 million in office deals. The results indicate a notable increase in transaction volume from 2010 for each category, with a 9% increase in retail transactions, a 50% increase in industrial, and an impressive 62% increase in office transactions. Including the closings in 2011, Stan Johnson Company has now completed over $11 billion in total net lease sales since its inception.

In 2011, the company crossed a milestone in the expansion plan with the launch of an office in New York City, along with the recruitment of commercial real estate professionals Tom Georges and Jason Maier as lead brokers in the office. Meanwhile, the company continued to grow its existing offices in Tulsa, Houston, Chicago, and Los Angeles with the addition of lead brokers Ed Breslin, Jackie Baker, Lindsey Scully, Brian Corriston and Andy Gatchell; and associates Karen Vinsko, Andrew Ragsdale, John Zimmerman, Julianna Clementi-Ryan, Andrew Peeples, Todd Moore, and Isaiah Harf.
Looking ahead to 2012, the company plans to explore additional market areas for expansion and will continue to recruit new talent to build on its established teams in the new and existing offices. "In 2012, we are looking forward to continuing to grow our reach to serve our clients in additional targeted markets including San Francisco, Phoenix, and Atlanta," says Executive Managing Director Daniel Herrold.
