Joining the firm in 2008, Jim brings over 20 plus years in the real estate arena including both residential and commercial brokerage and business development.  Jim has been named a CoStar Power Broker for Houston market. This award is a testament to the strength of our client and broker relationships (as well as the hard work) that has allowed us to remain active in today's challenging market. Gibson was measured against all the commercial real estate brokers in our respective regions and ranked on overall sales transaction volume for 2009 as reported to CoStar. Prior to joining Stan Johnson Company, Jim served as Vice President of Development for Taylor Morrison Homes and was part of the management team responsible for the development and sale of over 600 homes annually valued in excess of $171 million. Other experience includes the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, owner/partner of home building company from 1993 to 2004 and Licensed Texas Real Estate Broker since 1993.
Jim, a graduate of Baylor University with a BBA in Real Estate/Finance is an active member of the National Association of Realtors, the Houston Association of Realtors and the Greater Houston Builders Association.
