Tyler Smith

Tyler Smith is a senior vice president based in Northmarq's Seattle office. HE has specialized in the sale of private capital and middle market multifamily assets across the state of Washington for nearly 20 years. His extensive experience includes the sale of various asset sizes, locations and classifications of multifamily buildings throughout the Pacific Northwest. Tyler, along with Steve Fischer and Joe Kinkopf, lead a team that closed over 150 transactions between 2019-2023 and well over $1 billion throughout their careers. As an apartment owner, Tyler prioritizes the client’s needs individually and carefully.

Tyler joined Northmarq after 19 years at Westlake Associates, where he was consistently a top producer. The Smith, Fischer, Kinkopf team has consistently been one of the top producing teams throughout the state and will continue to grow their focus on $5 million-$50 million middle market assets in the state.

Tyler earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Washington.
