About Matt

Matt Lipson, Associate Director in the West region, joined Stan Johnson Company in 2017 and has over 12 years of commercial real estate experience. He specializes in net lease sales, sale-leasebacks, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Throughout his career, Lipson has become a go to contact for developers and franchisees to expand their brand. His operational clients include restaurant franchisees, convenience and gas operators and car wash operators. Private capital, institutions and REITs have all benefited from Lipson’s relationships with desired operators/franchisees.

Before joining Stan Johnson Company, Lipson was a Senior Investment Broker with CIRE Partners, where he was instrumental in closing numerous commercial properties nationwide. Lipson was also previously an analyst for Marcus and Millichap. Prior to real estate, Lipson was involved in various sales positions since the age of 14, including management positions at restaurants which provides him with an intimate understanding of the metrics and practices needed to successfully operate a business.
