Stan Johnson Company, one of commercial real estate’s leading investment sales brokerage firms, has completed the sale of a 180,000-square-foot manufacturing portfolio leased to Schweitzer-Mauduit International (NYSE: SWM) located in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The facility was purchased by Derossi Commercial, a private investor, for an undisclosed price. Mollie Alteri, Joey Odom, Mike Sladich, and Maggie Holmes of Stan Johnson Company represented the seller, which was a partnership between Jera Partners LLC and a fund managed by DRA Advisors LLC.
“This was an opportunity for a buyer to acquire a highly sophisticated and essential manufacturing operation of a publicly traded, global tenant on a long-term lease,” said Alteri, Associate Director in Stan Johnson Company’s Atlanta, Georgia office. “Despite market headwinds, essential industrial users with strong credit profiles will continue to attract activity as the investment market embarks on a selective flight-to-quality in the near-term.”
The portfolio encompasses a more than 30-year tenancy in Greenfield, Massachusetts by Schweitzer-Mauduit International.
