Tulsa, Oklahoma, June 19, 2019 – Stan Johnson Company, one of the nation’s premier net lease brokerage firms, has completed the sale of a single-tenant medical clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina leased to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The 52,000-square-foot facility is located at 8601 University East Drive and provides primary care, behavioral health, and laboratory services for veterans in the Charlotte metro area.
The property was sold by Pennsylvania-based Marr Development, which was represented by Jeff Matulis and Toby Scrivner of Stan Johnson Company.
“The property has a short remaining lease term, with roughly five years remaining on the lease,” said Scrivner, Senior Director in Stan Johnson Company’s Tulsa office. “The GSA’s history of consistent lease renewals and the 11-year history of operations by the VA at this location provided investors with confidence that this investment offered an attractive opportunity.”
A local Charlotte, North Carolina investor purchased the property on May 23, 2019 for $13.6 million. The buyer was represented by Josh Beaver, Vice President of The Nichols Company.
